Dr. Wasim Akram passed his B.Pharm with distinction from Jiwaji University and M.Pharm from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University) in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He earned a PhD in the year 2022. He has a total experience of 08 years in teaching, research, and the pharmaceutical industry. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at the Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. His primary focus within the research realm revolves around enhancing drug delivery precision, mainly through utilizing biopolymer-based drug delivery systems. He is actively involved in formulating nanoparticulate drug delivery systems for treating Inflammatory bowel disorders and cancer. He has published 15 peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national and international journals, written 4 Books and 08 book chapters in various publications. He has also been granted 1 Indian patent. He is also active as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. He is a member/Life member of several Indian scientific organizations.

Dr. Akram has been bestowed with several honours; a few of them worth mentioning include the Young Talent Award by the Indian Pharmaceutical Education Society, the Young Researcher Award by Arjyopa during the World Congress on Drug Development, Awarded JRF & SRF By the University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi; in addition, several awards for best paper presentations at conferences; Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association, and Controlled Release Society, Indian Chapter. As a representative or invited speaker, Dr. Akram shared his research and teaching experience in several conferences, seminars, symposiums, and workshops. He is also actively engaged in various department, Institute and University committees. Recently, He got a project entitled “Ligand tethered polymer-lipid based self-assembled nanoconstruct(s) for the effective brain targeting against glioma”, approved by MPCST Project A/RD/RP-2/3.

 

Dr. Neeraj Mishra  is working as Professor and HOD in Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Gwalior since July 2019. He has around twenty years of teaching and research experience.  He has more than 115 publications of International and National repute in recent concepts of novel drug delivery systems, localized drug delivery, targeted and controlled drug delivery of nanocarriers/ microparticles for the treatment of breast, colon cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Mishra has around 3650 citations with h- index 32, i- Index 64. The total cumulative Impact Factor of his published papers is more than 300. He has also written 14 Books and 25 book chapters. He has also been granted 3 international patents and 1 Indian patent.  He has received “Distinguished Professor Award” 2019 from DST-NSTMIS,SPAICS, Indore, M.P in September 2019. He has also received the   “Outstanding Scientist Award '' 2020, 6th International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science, and Medicine, 20-21 June 2020, Chennai, India. Recently, He received the “Distinguished Professor Award '' 2021 from IPA, MP State Branch, Indore. He was recipient of ICMR- SRF (New Delhi, India) (Grant: 45/02/2007-BMS/ PHA Dated 06\07\2007\H.S.Gour) under supervision of Prof. S. P. Vyas. Recently, He got project entitled “Dual functional Colon- Targeted Tofacitinib and Probiotics Loaded Microparticles for the Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease” got approved by MPCST Project A/RD/RP-2-231.

 

Dr. Tanweer Haider is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Gyan Vihar School of Pharmacy, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Dr. Haider has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dr. Harisingh Gour University, India. Previously, he obtained M. Pharm in Pharmaceuticals from Guru Ghasidas University, India. He has 7 years teaching and research experience. He has also two years’ experience in Quality control division in Pharmaceutical Industry.  Dr. Haider research interests revolve around the area of pharmaceutical sciences, with a special focus on novel drug delivery systems, targeted and controlled drug delivery, particulate and vesiculate nanocarriers, nanomedicine, tumor targeting, targeted drug delivery, and quality by design. Dr. Haider has made significant contributions to his field, with more than 30 research articles in renowned journals and 12 book chapters to his credit. His work reflects his dedication to advancing the knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical science. Dr. Haider commitment to research excellence has been recognized through prestigious awards. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field, he has been honored as a Principal Investigator of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Furthermore, he has qualified for the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Graduate Pharmaceutical Aptitude Test (GPAT), proving his excellent aptitude and knowledge in Pharmaceutical Sciences. His passion for advancing drug delivery systems and improving patient outcomes drives the search for innovative solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.
