Yes, it gets dark at times, there are moments that are scary and gruesome, but that’s exactly what makes it such a gripping horror novel. The horror elements are handled brilliantly, creating a tense and chilling atmosphere without feeling overdone. In the end, I can honestly say this was a fantastic read. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror with meaning and emotional depth. It’s definitely one of my new favorites!
