"The Boy I love" is really well written and I love it's closeness to historical true events even though the two boys were not. The accuracy of the military and the consequences and dangers of being gay at the time are so well researched and put into words so lovingly, I wish I could read it again for the first time. I can't stop thinking about it, to be specific. I just wish it would have been longer, to see their love story unfold even more... :)

“The boy i love“ is so well written and historically so well researched. Its heart wrenching beautiful. Its a heavy book and i think right now, with everything going on in the world an important book to maybe understand better that wars are not just a game.
