God of War (Standard Edition)

I was so nervous to start this book because I had heard a lot of negative opinions, and I honestly feared I wouldn't enjoy it. But as often happens, tastes really do differ-because I absolutely LOVED it!! I've been intrigued by Ava and Eli's story since the previous books, and when I finally started God of War, it was completely different from what I expected-but in the most amazing way. The book sets itself apart from the earlier installments and develops its own unique storyline, which created a completely fresh sense of suspense and excitement for me. I loved how the story surprised me at every turn, and the emotional depth of Ava and Eli's journey just pulled me in completely. The romance, the tension, the character growth-everything felt so genuine and immersive. I really appreciate how this book dares to be different from the rest of the series, while still keeping me invested in characters I care so much about. A beautifully intense read that left me smiling, swooning, and utterly captivated.
