except for the last third when the adventure dosage tripled. I loved the characters and how natural their interactions felt, even the kidnappee that feels obligated to stay and help feels very true to character. It's such a whacky troupe of Merry Men at the beginning of their respective careers, it's great to see them grow ob their mission. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who likes adventure, queer characters, and witty writing, or just Lex Croucher, tbf they could write a package insert and I'd read it.

My favourite book by Lex yet. I love the different characters and the way they feel so realistic. I also loved the great humour and the feeling of found family, what makes it feel like a kind of save space to me. (Also I’ve rarely cried so much because of sad- and happiness at the same time)
