"If you want me" is even better than "if you hate me" (book 1) when it comes to all the spice and love! This is so hot! I mean, all the story and connection between Hollis and Aurora are these pretty tickling sensations from page one till the very last. I couldn't put the book away nor the audiobook (I tell you more about this further down). I like the teasing of the protagonists and pushing into the right place. And I like that Aurora is that strong woman who's constantly true to her feelings. And I truly love the evolution of these two. Hollis and Aurora start on one point but get through all this getting better. It's not only about the story, that is great, but this is too about all the feelings. There are a lot of spicy scenes, and they will never be enough, but it also has depth in the right places when it comes to emotions. Nevermind, this is one of the hottest books I have read so far into this year. Even more than the first book in this series, and I love it. About the writing: Its well written and very interessting, even easy to read (even for an non native reader) and easy to follow and to understand. There aren't words you need to search through. This is a very strong recommendation for all the ones who like Helena Huntings books and all people who like to read about spice, hockey and age-gap. I guarantee you that this one is on point in spice and love levels. About the Audiobook: The goosebumps' effect on listening to this is superb. Both narrators are easy to follow (even for a non native english listener), and they match Aurora and Hollis perfectly. Sidenote: Whoever is narrating for Hollis has this sensational voice with the grumbles that get all the feels to the surface. It's absolutely amazing. The book: A standalone age-gap, dad's best friend hockey romance. There’s no one more off limits than my best friend’s daughter. Peggy Aurora Hammerstein. Her little flirts and taunts push my buttons, if she doesn’t stop–my control just might break. But I can never cross that line. I can never know what it could be to call her mine.
