Die “Ausschwitz Reihe” gefällt mir immer wieder, ich finde es gut, dass Cilkas Story noch einmal aufgegriffen wurde. Ich hatte mich nach dem Ende von “the tattooist of Ausschwitz” gefragt wie es mit ihr weiter geht, dass sie jetzt so eine, den Umständen entsprechend, schöne Geschichte erhalten hat freut mich.
An der Geschichte gibt es für mich nichts zu bemängeln, es war leicht verständlich, ich habe mit mehr Verständnisproblemen gerechnet, da ich das Buch auf Englisch gelesen habe. Der Schreibstil war wunderbar, auch jede Figur war einzigartig und gut ausgearbeitet. Ich finde die Umstände und damaligen Verhältnisse wurden gut dargestellt, es hat mich manchmal zu Tränen gerührt. Aber manchmal empfand ich die Darstellung alles sehr lasch, dafür das ein Konzentrationslager ein sehr schlimmer Ort ist.
Für mich ist Cilka eine Heldin, sie setzt sich für die Schwächeren ein, stellt sich selbst zurück und
hilft immer dort wo sie es kann.

Sehr traurig aber dennoch mitreißend .ich hatte Tränen in den Augen als ich das Buch gelesen habe.Ist aber auch sehr spannend.
