The Nightmare Before Kissmas

Den Umgang, den Coal und Hex miteinander pflegen, vor allem wenn es um intime Sachen geht, hat in mir irgendwas repariert, von dem ich nicht wusste, dass es kaputt war. Das Buch hat mich sofort gepackt und ich habe es innerhalb einer Woche durchgelesen, weil ich unbedingt wissen wollte, wie es mit Coals Plan und Hex und ihm weitergeht. Es gab ernstere und traurigere Momente, die aber gut mit den super schöne und fröhliche Momenten balanciert sind.

It had all the cozy, Hallmark-but-better energy, and I loved the dynamic between the characters. The banter? Chef’s kiss. The chemistry? Fluff overload in the best way possible. This is the kind of book that makes you want to drink hot cocoa, curl up by the fireplace, and believe in holiday miracles. Honestly, I was obsessed with how lighthearted yet heartfelt the story was. It never felt forced or overly dramatic—it was just pure, festive serotonin in book form. If you love holiday romances that are funny, charming, and make your heart grow three sizes, it’s Nightmare Before Kissmas is a must-read.

A Christmas Prince falling for a Halloween Prince, trick or treat? This book is definitely a TREAT that has it ALL! It makes you think and laugh out loud (literally!!!), it's cute and heartwarming, yet spicy. Two words: corset vests. It's the perfect read in the time between Halloween and Christmas!

Nicholas "Coal", the prince of christmas, isn´t a huge fan of his representing Holiday any more since his father turned it more into a family PR stunt. Especially this year after his father announce his engagement to Iris the princess of easter, much to his surprise. He totally didn´t agree on marrying his best friend and things get even worse when Halloween sends someone for Iris´ hand too. To his surprise it´s the mysterious hottie he met behind a bar months ago: Hex the prince of Halloween. A fake competition for Iris´ hand in marriage starts between the two princes who can´t keep their hands off each other. This Books was sooo funny and cute, while also having some seriuosness because of the dynamics between Santa and Coal and the whole handeling of the Holiday Christmas. Coal and Hex are so "opposites attracts" with Coal being a never serious jokster and Hex being so dutiful. Even though this book is a cute romance story between the two princes, it does focus more on the politic part of Christmas and the other holidays, so be ready for loots of world building, holiday PR drama and less couple time, but we do get e few spice scenes between the the two. All in all it´s a super cute gay winter romance story you just have to fall in love with!

Even though the world is a bit confusing at first and I would have loved more worldbuilding, this is a steamy christmassy romcom, perfect for a cozy evening. Loved the chemistry between Hex and Coal and also that they spoke about serious topics like the meaning and commercialization of christmas as well as the loss of a loved person etc.
