This is the second book of the kamogawa food detective series. I love stories that hit you right in the feels, and this one definitely delivered. A lot of the stories center around grieving loved ones, which adds such an emotional depth to everything. I absolutely loved the banter between Nagare and his daughter, Koishi. Their dynamic is so heartwarming. I also really appreciated how they keep Nagare’s wife/Koishi’s mother present in their conversations and investigations, there’s something so special about how they include her, even after she's gone.
