Eine unmögliche Aufgabe…

Annalena am 13.03.2025

Bewertungsnummer: 2437252

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

Absolute Empfehlung meinerseits!!!

something to fill the 'six of crows' void

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

This book sucked me in within the first few pages. If you're looking for a very fast-paced fantasy with romantic subplots, multiple povs and short chapters, this is the book for you! The worldbuilding was very easy to follow and all of the mcs had their own stories, motives and problems to deal with, which made for a very interesting and multi-layered story. I loved how despite their alliance there were constant trust-issues and you could never be sure if one of the group would betray them. All the characters are definitely morally grey, some more than others, but it makes for a really fun read. My favourites were Royo, Aeri and Sora. If you're favourite part of Jude Duarte was 'I poisoned both cups', you definitely want to meet Sora. Aeri was just so funny to me and I love how Royo very reluctantly and slowly fell for her. If you like bodyguard romance, you definitely want to meet these two. Mikail and Euyn have probably the most interesting dynamic, the way they never have to question each other's love but constantly have to question each other's plans. I do hope we get to see more character developement for Euyn in the next books though, because some of his thoughts about women really annoyed me. When it comes to Tiyung, I really enjoyed his affection for Sora, but I do wish it would have developed slower, because in the end their relationship felt rushed to me. One thing that bothered me, was how the backstory for all the characters would just be dumped somewhere in the story, when it could've been drawn out more. If you've just finished the Six of Crows Duology and are looking for another multi-pov fantasy about a band of criminals, this is definitely the right book for you.
