The Wren in the Holly Library An addictive dark romantasy series inspired by Beauty and the Beast

First of all, I would give this book 4.5 stars It took me a while to get into the book because there are a lot of people introduced and also some world building which was a bit confusing for me. But after the first 60 pages I was totally into the story and loved Kierse and Graves. The story is quite fast paced, packed with information of all kinds, it was exciting to the end. I really liked the magic system, the different monsters/creatures and the politics in the book. The chapters are short and the book is divided into different parts. Each part ends with an interlude from a different character, which I liked. The ending was a bit rushed, but I enjoyed it anyway and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

I read this book in a day and it was so good! It felt like reading pictures and the story was well balanced between action and a little romance. I loved it and wish I could read it again for the first time. Excited for the next one!

This was so good, definitely the best Fantasy I've read in a while, maybe even the best of the year. Loved the characters, the actual grey morality, the dynamics, the World and the way the author pulls you into this awesome World. And the romance is TO DIE FOR, they have matching daddy issues! It's for everyone really, but especially for those who wished Folk of the Air to be darker, for the SJM girlies who grew up on Shadowhunters and every Romantasy Lover out there, really.
