"...much more than turtle stories: at its heart are lessons learned, and the rewards of allowing your passion to drive your life's journeys and experiences!" -Rick Hudson, Turtle Survival Alliance Bob Krause was only four years old when he discovered his lifelong passion. For helping her carry the shopping bags one day, his mother bought him a little green turtle in the pet department of a Woolworths in Chicago, Illinois. The love affair began. But Bob's passion for turtles became a lot more than a hobby. In time, it would lead him into a mind-boggling entrepreneurial career that put him at the vanguard of today's billion-dollar pet industry, and would allow him to travel to places that his four-year-old self could never have even dreamed of. More than the hugely entertaining story of one man's successful life journey Turtling: Following My Passion is an insightful meditation on what's really behind any successful journey. PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS BOOK WILL BE DONATED TO 501c NON PROFIT TURTLE CONSERVATION ORGANIZATIONS.
