It's Not Summer Without You

Sehr spannend! Das Buch hat mir sehr gut gefallen, da es ein wahres Kopfzerbrechen war. Für mich gab es aber nur eine Antwort: Team Conrad. Ich liebe diese Bücher, sie sind besser als die Serie!

Emotional, gut zu lesen, einfach toll. Das Buch kann man schnell und einfach durchlesen und es ist eine Achterbahn der Gefühle. Zum Ende hin wird es sehr spannend und man wird völlig mitgerissen und hat das Gefühlt selbst in Cousins zu stehen. Perfekt für den Sommer (oder den Winter um in einen Sommervibe zu kommen)!!

Das Buch ist mitreissend und genauso gut lesbar wie der erste Teil. Jenny Han hat wieder ein Meisterwerk erstellt und ich freue mich auf die Fortsetzung.

Band 2 der Reihe konnte mich auch genau so überzeugen und ich habe mich wieder sehr wohl zwischen den Seiten gefühlt. Das Englisch und den damit verbundenen Schreibstil kann man gut und leicht verstehen und das Buch eignet sich toll als Einsteigelektüre in die englische Sprache. Eine cute summer-lovestory, die perfekt für die warmen Tage ist

A summer without Cousins would never be a real summer for Belly. But this year everything changed. With Susannah gone nothing is the same and Belly plans to spend this summer back at home. Until Jeremiah calls her because Conrad is nowhere to be found. Belly is certain that she can find a way to make things right again but first they have to find him. 

I must admit that I have watched the tv show before I read the first two books but that did not spoil the story for me at all. While I really loved the first book this one was a bit more of a heartbreaker. There were quite some moments were Belly truly annoyed me. Her constant whining didn’t help very much. And let’s not talk about Conrad. While there were some moments were I didn’t like him in the last book, he was a complete ass in this one. At least Jeremiah was his usual likable self. I really hope Belly improves a bit in the next book because otherwise she does not deserve a sweet guy like him. Although I had my issues with some of the characters it was a quick and easy read that was definitely not as light as the first one. 
This one was definitely not as nice and sweet as the fist one. I really hope that the third book will be more like the first.
