This volume provides a fascinating insight into the ancient maritime trade routes of the Erythræan sea. Flavius Arrianus, a trusted lieutenant of Alexander the Great, describes the various ports of call and the exotic goods that were traded. With JW McCrindle's translation and annotations, this edition includes additional insights from the Indian Antiquary.
