Dr. Martínez-Roldán
is "Investigador por México" at CONAHCYT- TecNM / IT Durango and has 15 years of experience in microalgal biotechnology. His research interests are focused on microalgal-based bio-refinery, native strains isolation, and characterization, construction of photobioreactors, and wastewater treatment by microalgae and cyanobacteria cultures. He has published more than 15 indexed articles, and 13 chapters (international and national ones), and guided at least 40 undergraduate and 20 graduate students at TecNM/IT de Durango and in collaboration with other institutions.
