Penance

I really liked how this book was made to feel like a true-crime story. It definitely portrayed our society's lust for grotesque and cruel things. Psychologically it was very good and twisted, but I have to say that I was a bit bored and it was not as thrilling as I hoped it would be. Halfway through I switched to the audiobook because I felt that it would be better to listen to the story which turned out to be true. Would recommend it as an audiobook!
