    Strictly speaking, this short book combines two long articles that Stephen Wolfram previously published online. These texts are very much worth reading for people who want to understand how ChatGPT works. Wolfram explains this with virtually no mathematics and with a lot of illustrations. Since he is also the founder of the company that created Wolfram Alpha, there are occasional comparisons between ChatGPT and Wolfram Alpha, which are based on totally different approaches. The result is enlightening.
