Es ist ein wunderschön geschriebenes Buch, das mit seiner klaren, bildhaften Sprache beeindruckt. Die Beschreibungen der Natur sind so lebendig, dass man sich direkt hineinversetzt fühlt. Die Geschichte ist spannend und klug erzählt, sodass man das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen kann. Lauren Groffs Schreibstil macht die Lektüre zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Ein großartiges Werk, das lange im Gedächtnis bleibt!
