The unique and raw writing style of this book made me really feel with the main character. What I really appreciated was the total lack of filter when it came to the eating disorder and how it impacted the protagonist’s life. It made this book unapologetically uncomfortable to read. In a good way, because an eating disorder is not comfortable. A very strong story, but not meant for everyone. Der einzigartige und authentische Schreibstil von diesem Buch lässt einen unfassbar mit der Protagonistin mitfühlen. Was ich sehr geschätzt habe, war die komplett filterlose Darstellung der Essstörung und wie diese das Leben der Protagonistin beeinflusst hat. Es hat das Buch unfassbar unangenehm zum Lesen gemacht. Und das in gutem Sinne, denn eine Essstörung ist nichts angenehmes. Eine sehr starke Geschichte, welche nicht für jede*n geeignet ist.
