I love Avery, I love the Hawthorne brothers and I love all the other characters as well. In this 3rd book you'll see Avery going even further and taking a very risky gamble. Okay wo soll ich hier nur anfangen... Im Buch geht es um die Fortsetzung des rätselhaften Erbes von Avery Grambs. Sie wird weiterhin von Geheimnissen und Intrigen umgeben, während sie versucht, die Bedingungen des Testaments zu erfüllen, um das Vermögen des verstorbenen Tobias zu erben. Dabei wird sie mit ihren Mitstreitern in gefährliche Situationen verwickelt und muss sich neuen Herausforderungen stellen, um ihre Zukunft zu gestalten und die Wahrheit über ihre Herkunft zu enthüllen. Das Buch ist eine fesselnde Mischung aus Mystery, Spannung und überraschenden Wendungen, es war einfach atemberaubend. Ich muss sagen Hut ab an die Autorin, die so eine Tolle Geschichte geschrieben hat wo man immer mitfiebert und mitratet und denkt man weiß die Antwort und man liegt dann doch falsch! Das Buch habe ich bis auf die ersten 50 Seiten, die ich einen Tag davor schon angefangen habe, in einem Rutsch durchgelesen, weil ich es einfach nicht aus der Hand legen konnte, weil es einfach soooooo gut war und ja eins zwei tränen sind tatsächlich auch kurz geflossen. Ich muss sagen wenn ich alle drei Bücher zusammen rechne komme ich auf eine Wertung von 4,3 Sternen und deswegen ist es definitiv ein Empfehlung von mir!!! und ich muss dem alten Tobias zustimmen, die Geschichte war einfach a very risky gamble! Ich finde das Lied Coincidence von Rosse passt voll zu der Buch Reihe Eure Leni ❤️

One of the last books I read in 2022 was the third book in the Inheritance Games Trilogy. And I read it in a buddyread with a good friend which made it so engaging. I was really curious as to how the author would tie it all together and how she would have Avery and Co. solve the puzzle/mystery. The ending was a banger! It’s why the book gets 4 stars from me. The way the author wrote the ending was very rewarding. Also, I’m very much impressed with how she wrote all the different puzzles and mysteries, though I would have liked for some of them to be more discovered. Some of them were solved in a way that made no sense to me. The thought process in Avery’s head that lead to the 'solutions' sometimes felt more by accident and less intentional and thought through. It was still very much entertaining to guess and toss ideas around with the characters. Sarah can attest to my being very much excited when I realised how the charecters were connected, even before we get the answer for sure Unlike many, I didn’t care much for the love story (neither the love triangle nor the relationship between the couple that ended up together). I also didn’t much enjoy reading Max’ swear word alternatives, it got old very quickly. I’m not sure she enhanced the plot enough. I get that Avery needs to come from somewhere and will most likely have friends, but I just felt like she wasn’t given the space she would have needed in order to 'be justified' to be in the story. What I did like, on the other hand, was how we get to witness Grayson’s confliction. With his past and what he experienced it felt authentic for him to lose himself in Eve and her arrival in their lives. All in all, it was a good ending to the series - even though I would have loved to get more of Xander, he’s amazing! In the end, I like how this trilogy made me question wealth and my perception of it and also my perception of people.
