    Good but full of repetition

    It is a good book and it is about one of the most important problems of our time, which is deep work and its importance. What bothers me about this book is the author's talkativeness and repetition of similar cases and stories. I think this was done to add pages to the book and it is a bit annoying. But overall, the book is acceptable and useful.

    so much unnecessary text

    there are some books where you want to read more with each page and then there's this book. a lot of repetition, a lot of irrelevant/unnecessary text which really drags down someone's reading enjoyment. there are still valuable insights although most of them were already known to me
