Das Offensichtliche zuerst - man muss der Englischen Sprache mächtig sein und sich mit der Englischen Häkelterminologie auskennen. Idealerweise hat man auch bereits Erfahrung mit Amigurumi häkeln. Wenn man das alles mit Ja beantworten kann, dann ist dieses Buch genial. Quasi im Baukastensystem bekommt man die Anleitung um phantastische Kreaturen entstehen zu lassen. Es gibt detaillierte Bilder wie man die gewählte Kreatur zusammenbaut bzw. mit Draht arbeitet um sie stabil zu machen. Darum auch der Hinweis - die Amigurumi sind nicht für Kinder geeignet, da sie in der Regel Draht und Sicherheitsaugen enthalten. Für viele Techniken gibt es auch Youtube Videos, wenn die Beschreibungen und Bilder für das eigene Verständnis mal nicht ausreichend sind oder man sich einfach veranschaulichen möchte, wie die Autorin das jetzt ganz genau gemacht hat.
Ich habe gerade wirklich sehr viel Freude mit dem Buch und der Kreation meiner eigenen Gargoyles, Drachen und Kraken.
