Was Jennette McCurdy erlebt hat war einfach schrecklich. Aber wie sie ihre Geschichte erzählt hat hat mich so sehr fasziniert , da muss man sehr viel Mut dazu haben sowas mit der Öffentlichkeit zu teilen.. Gerade wo man denkt, okay es kann nicht schlimmer werden, passiert ihr noch etwas schlimmeres..Aber ich finde das Buch absolut Empfehlenswert, vor allem wenn man sie von damals aus ICarly kennt… Man merkt wie Verstörend viele Sachen sein können ohne dass die Zuschauer es merken.

Open, honest and heartbreaking. Jennete tells us about the traumatic events of her career and her difficult family relations. The story itself is really heartbreaking yet told really light and with some comedic relief every now and then. It’s so interesting what she has to tell about her former network, her co-stars and the industry overall
Great book by one of the most iconic Nickelodeon actresses. I also recommend the audio book - read by the author herself - which is even more emotional.
