Shanghai Immortal A richly told romantic fantasy novel set in Jazz Age Shanghai

Oh lord was I looking forward to this one and I wasn´t disappointed in the least! Lady Jing is a hotheaded protagonist who often acts on a whim but she´s also smart, sassy and despite her knack for causing mafan very lovable. Now Tony Lee, banker, love interest and the sweetest gentleman. The world doesnt deserve him. Their adventures through both mortal and immortal shanghai were emotional, and suspenseful and I just had a whole lot of fun reading this book. Chinese mythology packed in a gripping fantasy novel with low stakes. Loved the characters, the dialogues....yeah. Loved it!
