The Seven Year Slip

I'm sorry, but I had to DNF the book at around 70%. While it started as an enjoyable read, towards the end, it became boring and repetitive, making it impossible for me to finish. About 60% of the content was solely dedicated to her aunt, which made it lose its appeal.

Ich habe das Buch innerhalb eines Tages durchgelesen Es ist eine so schöne und kreative Story und unglaublich süß. Hoffentlich kommt irgendwann eine Verfilmung dazu (und wird dem Buch auch gerecht..) Es war wirklich ein wunderbares Erlebnis über Iwan und „Lemon“ zu lesen und ich habe es sehr genossen, eine Empfehlung geht definitiv raus für alle, die eine „cleane“ Liebesgeschichte mit einem außergewöhnlichen Twist lesen wollen. Loooooved it❤️

Clementine feels broken but strong at the same time, and her growth throughout the story is touching. Iwan is quiet, kind, and a little mysterious. Together, they have a very gentle and emotional chemistry that feels natural, not rushed. Ashley Poston’s writing is soft and poetic but still easy to read. The story moves slowly, but in a good way — it lets the reader feel every emotion. The mix of magic and real life is done beautifully. The book talks about grief in a very honest way, showing that healing takes time. Overall, The Seven Year Slip is a heartwarming and bittersweet story. It’s about learning to let go, to love again, and to believe that time doesn’t always move in one direction. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who likes emotional and romantic stories with a touch of magic.

Das Buch war so genial. Ich liebe es, eines der besten Bücher die ich je gelesen habe. So unfassbar süß bitter. Und echt schön geschrieben. Zwischendurch manchmal auch ein bisschen Herzschmerz, aber es ist es absolut Wert

Es war ein absolut großartiges Buch. Ich bin mir absolut sicher dass es mich auch noch lange begleiten und mir in guten und vorallem mal schwereren zur Seite stehen und mir helfen wird! Die Charaktere sind gut ausgearbeitet und geschrieben, das setting genauso. Es ist ein Wohlfühlort an dem man Lachen, Weinen und Lernen kann. Man lernt sich selber ein wenig mehr zu lieben, man lernt wie wichtig es ist das Leben one step at a time zu neuem und auf sich und seine Bedürfnisse zu hören. Ich empfehle dieses Buch allen die eine bedeutungsvolle Geschichte Lesen wollen, allen die eine schwere Zeit durchmachen, villeicht trauern und die Erlaubnis brauchen mal zu weinen. Es ist einfach eine Achterbahn der Gefühle, doch wenn man aussteigt ist man irgendwie vollkommen ruhig, etwas verschwommen und doch sieht man klar. Kommt steigt ein und Tauch in eine wunderbare Welt vollen Zitronenkuchen, Van Gogh, Büchern und Farben ein.
