Kingdom of Ash A Throne of Glass Novel

This was a long and enjoyable ride with a phenomenal ending to an outstanding series! SJM did an incredible job constructing a beautiful world along with a wide range of diverse and beautiful characters, great plots and unexpected twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat so many times. This series is about great and strong women, their choices, their journeys, and their growth. Authoring a book that has so many unique plot lines and events happening simultaneously to then align and wrap them up in the big finale in the way that she did – that is art and a gift few authors have. This was a worthy and epic finale. Manon Blackbeak now holds an incredibly special place in my heart. She is by far my favorite character in this entire series. My favorite witch character of all times! I fear from here on forth every witch will be compared to her. Her plot line was the one I anticipated the most, especially throughout the last book and I loved how her story was entwined with Dorian’s. What a superb power couple they make. The story of the Thirteen takes on epic proportions. I liked Dorian from the beginning of the series, but I particularly enjoyed his character growth in this last installment. There should have been a little more of him for my taste. Gavriel and Aedion also shine in this last installment and their story is very touching. Overall, some chapters dragged on for quite a bit and provided detail that the story easily could have done without while some chapters lacked depth and felt rushed to me. At times there was too much jumping back and forth between characters which made the whole experience a little "messy". Nevertheless, this book series is an absolute must for any fantasy fan, and it holds a very special place in the hearts of many readers and for very good reason. #godtier Keep a big box of tissues handy. You know - SJM never makes things easy for us. *wink*

Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben so viel geweint, wie bei diesem Buch. Es hat mich zerstört. Aber irgendwie auch auf eine gute Art. Es ist das Finale der Throne of Glass Reihe und ich bin sooo traurig, dass es jetzt vorbei ist. Diese Reihe hat mich ein gutes halbes Jahr begleitet und ich liebe alles daran. Ganz ganz ganz große Empfehlung!

Das Finale der Throne of Glass Reihe ist emotional und episch. Mein absolutes Lieblingsbuch. Wenn ich könnte würde ich 6 Sterne geben. Ich habe geweint vor Trauer und Glück. Ein Buch das ich immer wieder lesen werde. Sarah J Maas ist ein absolutes Meisterwerk gelungen.

Wirklich ein Top Buch! Die gesamte Reihe ist einfach packend und besonders der letzte Band ist spannend, emotionsreich und aufregend. Es ist beeindruckend wie Sarah J. Maas selbst Dinge und Charaktere, die zuvor als unwichtig erschienen zusammenbringt. Ich konnte das Buch nicht aus der Hand legen, obwohl es fast tausend Seiten waren.
