Breaker und Lia hatten sofort einen Platz in meinem Herzen. Ich liebte alles an den beiden: ihre Freundschaft, wie sie miteinander umgehen und auch der Moment, in dem sie merken dass sie mehr als Freundschaftliche Gefühle miteinander teilen. Breaker ist ein absoluter Traum Book-Boyfriend. Die Entwicklung die Lia im Laufe des Buches durchmacht fand ich super und es hat mir extrem gut gefallen diese Entwicklung Seite für Seite lesen zu dürfen. Breaker mit seiner liebeswürdigen Art und wie respektvoll er mit anderen umgeht ist mein liebster der drei Brüder. Für mich der stärkste Teil der Reihe.

A Long Time Coming by Meghan Quinn is the third book of the Cane Brothers Series, and this is Lia and Breaker‘s story.   Lia and Breaker have been best friends since college, and I loved their friendship with all my heart. They just get each other and know the other very well. Their friendship is just goals and I adored how they fangirled together.   Lia has a prestigious boyfriend whom she’ll marry soon. And Brian was not it and only you as the reader and Breaker sees that. From the beginning I wanted her and Breaker to be together, but it’s obviously not that easy. And exactly that created so much angst and tension. Brian’s mother involved herself into the wedding planning and it was more than stressful, and I was outraged on Lia‘s behalf. Lia deserves so much more, and I really liked her and felt for her.   Breaker supports her with the wedding as the man of honor and I loved how he was always by her side. And the two of them could be so much more and perfect for each other and he is the one to realize that first. Breaker is just supportive, protective, and loving and let me tell you he is a dream man.   The obstacles in their way made me even more invested and I honestly loved every page of this book. My favorite scenes were just them being at their homes and the scene at Disneyland. And I also how Breaker talked to his brothers and their relationship was just beautiful as well.   Overall, A Long Time Coming is my new favorite friends-to-lovers story ever and a new favorite from Meghan. Everyone just needs to read this incredible book! 5 stars.
