Greta has created a very well thought-out and much needed primer text for anyone interested in the issues surrounding human caused climate change. It is also useful to those already familiar with some of the issues who wish a more complete and comprehensive overview of the topic, with special attention given to inequality and justice. Parts may be difficult for wealthy global-northerners to digest, but engage they must if we are to have any real hope at confronting the issue in any meaningful way. Each section is written by an expert in their field interspersed with insightful commentary from Greta. Obviously missing are the many, many necessary academic citations, which can be found conveniently on-line at the publisher's website organized by section.
