How to Kill Your Family

So Grace wants revenge on her father for a lot of things. First he left her pregnant mother, then he doesn't care about Grace, then Grace`s mother dies and he does nothing and then he had the audacity to be disgustingly rich! And she doesn't get anything! So she wants revenge! And she wants him to lose everything he holds dear, like she lost everything she loved - and if in the end nobody else but her is left to inherited everything, then that's fine by her. So she waits, and she plots, and she strikes, and she kills her family. And I enjoyed it all. Yeah, okay her actions are extreme and I`m sure she could have gone and get some therapy, but where is the fun in that? To take out your relatives one by one is way more satisfying, isn't it Grace? I say it is worth reading, have fun but don't go "kill your family"!

Extrem unsympathische Protagonisten und offensichtliche Enden verfolgen einem durch das Buch. Ich denke mir, ich hätte mir lieber das Geld gespart, hätte ich das vorher gewusst. Der Buchrücken klingt zwar spannend, aber seid gewiss, dass ihr es bereuen werdet, wenn ihr dieses Buch lest

I could not put it down. I wanted to know how she will get all of them. To what length she will go to get what she wants. I loved the dry humor and the characters. At the end it got so frustrating I just wanted to throw my book across and the room and out the window. I honestly thouht it would end differently, but alas it is good anyway!

Das Buch hat mir total gut gefallen: es ist witzig, immer wieder auch spannend, auch mal langsamer, aber nie langweilig, mit einem emanzipierten Blick der Protagonistin auf vieles im Leben

i actually liked it a lot. It was actually the first thriller I've read as I usually read books with bookshops or coffee shops. I think that it was nicely and realistically told, but if you're looking for something that's gonna have you at the edge of your seat then this is not for you
