    WOW!!!

    I absolutely loved this book. It made me feel disgust, fascination, and understanding all at the same time—something very few books manage to do. The characters are complex, and even when I disagreed with them, I couldn't stop wanting to know what would happen next. It was one of those stories that stayed with me long after I put it down. In fact, I couldn't put it down until I had finished it. Highly recommended!

    Thrilling novel with twists

    While Hoover is otherwise known for her more emotional romance novels, "Verity" marks her fantastic debut in the thriller genre. With excerpts from her character Verity's autobiography woven into the story, Hoover builds gripping suspense page after page. How much of the Crawford family's horrific fate was really just accidental? 4.5 stars for a twisty read of mystery and suspense. I refrain from giving 5, as I didn't care for the handful of erotic scenes thrown in, which broke up the tense atmosphere of the book in an odd way.

    plottwist wasn't a surprise for me

    I really liked the writing and story but I guessed the plottwist as soon as she is in the house. So it wasn't that exciting for me.

    Amazingly thrilling

    This book is very captivating and thrilling until the very end! Amazing twists that will keep you hooked. I usually don’t read thrillers and this book was able to make me feel quite uneasy at times, which was exactly what i was looking for. 5/5 ⭐️

    I Read a Thriller That Made Me Question Reality (And My IQ)

    A plot twist rollercoaster that made me question everything, including my own reading comprehension. Confusing, chaotic, and brilliant—you’ll hate yourself for predicting the ending… and then love it anyway.
