Ich habe das Gefühl, dass es allem ein ganz besonderes Gefühl verleiht. Ich liebe die Art und Weise, wie Murakami diese seltsamen Dinge aufbaut, die immer plausibler werden, je weiter man liest, ohne sie jedoch bis zur Enttäuschung zu entmystifizieren.

A wonderous, dreamy and profound novel that pulled me in completely. I could not think about anything else, couldn’t do anything else until I finished reading it. Murakami manages to write about surreal and obscure occurences without losing touch with reality; He writes with unparalleled, all-encompassing intensity and wit. This is a timeless masterpiece in my eyes and deserves all the praise and recognition.
