The inspiration for this book comes from Jeremy and Andy reminiscing during the quarantine about past travels that seem so distant, and takes them back to their true loves - food, travel and wine. Cocktail Hour Meets ... L'APERO guides readers through each of the wine regions of France, and includes stories of Jeremy and Andy's past travels, 25 L'APEROs, each highlighting a French wine (and one brandy), and a recipe which pairs well with each beverage. A portion of all sales will be donated to World Central Kitchen - a national nonprofit founded by Chef José Andrés and his wife Patricia that uses "the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crises and beyond.".
