To write this book you really have to know your way with greek mythology - and Jennifer Saint absoloutely does. This book condensed and simplified several text sources about the trojan war - and told them from the perspective of three women - while still remaining easily understandable and full of beautiful language. Of course this story also contains the feelings, drama, and passion that one would hope for when picking up a mythological re-telling.

Those of you who are fascinated by Greek mythology but don't like it to be told in difficult, unmanageable words are for a treat with this book! Fiction woven with the historical background, that you can find confirmed even by Wikipedia;-)
