Das "kleine" Einmaleins der einfachsten Statistik lügen wird in diesem Buch beschrieben.
Anhand der Informationen fällt es dem ungeübten "Statistiker" einfach eine Statistik zu hinterfragen, kritisch zu beurteilen oder eben als lüge zu entlarven.
Wobei die meisten Statistiken ja keine Lügen sind, sondern nur so dargestellt wie sie die gewünschte Aussage unterstreichen.
Oder eben wer die andere Seite interessiert, wie lasse ich meine Aussagen mit schönen Statistiken unterstreichen wird auch den einen oder anderen Tipp finden. Dies funktioniert jedoch nur solange, die Empfängerseite die Statistik nicht zu detailliert hinterfragt.
Alles in allem ein guter kurz Abrieb, jedoch bei weitem nicht als Standartwerk zu betiteln in der Statistik.
