Michelle Obamas Geschichte von ihr selbst erzählt zu bekommen ist einfach wunderbar. Neben viel ehrlichen, inspirierenden Lebensweisheiten wirkt es wie ein Liebesbrief an ihre Familie, ihren Mann, ihre Töchter und ihre Freund*innen. Ich war nicht nur einmal zu Tränen gerührt. Als "Hamilton" und Lin Manuel Miranda Fan kommt man auch auf seine Kosten!

The book provides an astonishingly personal and frank insight into the life and thinking of the former US First Lady. The insider perspective of a deeply thoughtful and honest person into life on the South Side of Chicago, as a lawyer and community worker, on the political campaign trail, as a public figure and in the White House was as revealing as evocative. The book is well narrated and storied and written in sound language, proof to the aspiration of quality of the author. I've enjoyed every page, even though I disagree on many aspects with the political opinion of the Obamas.
