New Land V2: Four Years In The Arctic Regions (1904) is a book written by Otto Neumann Sverdrup, a Norwegian explorer who led several expeditions to the Arctic regions in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The book is the second volume of Sverdrup's account of his four-year journey to the Arctic, during which he explored and mapped the previously uncharted regions of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. In this volume, Sverdrup describes his experiences during the second and third years of the expedition, including his encounters with the Inuit people, his observations of the Arctic wildlife, and his exploration of the islands and fjords of the archipelago. He also provides detailed descriptions of the weather and the natural environment, as well as the challenges and hardships faced by his crew in their quest for discovery.Throughout the book, Sverdrup's narrative is both informative and engaging, providing readers with a fascinating glimpse into the world of Arctic exploration in the early 20th century. With its rich descriptions of the landscape, the people, and the wildlife of the Arctic, New Land V2: Four Years In The Arctic Regions is a must-read for anyone interested in the history of exploration and the natural world. In Two Volumes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
