Das Buch ist genau das richtige für jeden Fan ihrer Musik und vor allem ihrer Lyriks und allgemeinen Ästhetik. Die Gedichte sind vielseitig in Thematik und Länge, durch die Fotos, sowie handschriftlichen Nachtragungen und Verbesserungen fühlt sich das Buch sehr persönlich und authentisch.

Ich konnte noch nie gut erklären warum, aber Gedichte entspannen mich. Was an diesem Buch nochmal zusätzlich gut ist, sind die Bilder, die sie selbst fotografiert hat. Wenn man sich die Situationen zusammen mit den Gedichten vorstellt, fühlen sich diese nochmal emotionaler an. auch, dass man am Ende die Möglichleit bekommt, selbst poetische Gedanken niederzuschreiben, spricht für das Buch.

You can also really see her thought process in her handwritten corrections, which gives the entire experience of reading this book such an authentic touch. This is a must-read for every Lana del Rey fan and for every poetry lover who wants to take a dip into a new writing style.

Lana del Rey always made fantastic music. Her first book contains poems which are proof that she is such a talented writer lyric wise. She also did some pretty photographies matching each poem. It’s a really enjoyable read which takes you through her lyrical landscape.
