Ich kann das Buch wirklich nur empfehlen! Es liest sich wie von selbst und regt zum Nachdenken an. Erfrischend und überraschend - allzu oft hätte ich einen anderen Ausgang erwartet.

Eine Zeit, in der die Feuerwehr nicht mehr dafür da ist, um Brände zu löschen, sondern um verbotene Bücher zu verbrennen. Mutige Menschen stellen sich dem Gebot der Konformität entegen und wollen jene Bücher bewahren und lesen. Nach wie vor ein schockierendes Buch, ein must-read für Fans von Aldous Huxley, George Orwell und Philip K. Dick.

Ein spannendes Buch, welches auch heute noch brandaktuelle scheint. Es diente auch als grobe Vorlage für den Film „Equilibrium“ mit Christian Bale.

Ich bin ein großer Fan von Bradburys Werken und habe an allen Büchern bisher große Freude gefunden. Fahrenheit sticht für mich persönlich dennoch hervor. Bradbury hat ein magisches Talent, während er Wörter schreibt, lese ich Bilder. Absolute Empfehlung!
