That's now the fourth book I've read from Taylor Jenkins Reid. What a ride it was. The book is easy to read and it took me right into the sunshine of Malibu. I really liked the setting and that surfing lifestyle and life at the beach, she's describing. As in all of her books it's a lot about relationships in their different forms and dynamics. This time it's a little more complex, because she's describing family dynamics, which involves a whole bunch of people. I like the way she's telling two stories at the same time, in the past and in the present and how they get together in the end. The part of the party is a whole mess and for me there are way too many characters she's describing and I was totally losing the overview. It's a good book, fun to read, but not my favorite of hers.

Ich gebe zu, ich bin ein großer Fan ihrer Bücher. Evelyn Hugo ist mein absolutes Lieblingsbuch. Auch Daisy Jones hab ich sehr gerne gemocht. Dieses Buch jedoch hat mich etwas enttäuscht.
