A Sky Beyond the Storm

It was amazing What a beautiful ending, what an amazing title and strong and well-done character- growth. It´s one of my favourite finales ever. Seeing these fantastic characters (and side characters) grow through grief, loss, war but also hope and love was one of my favourite things in the book. And it has fantastic quotes . Everybody should read this series not only has it amazing characters and world-building but also because it discuss very important topics. It talks about war, oppression, child and power abuse, refugees and motherhood. What people, mothers and children have to be become in times of war. Hardened their selves through death, grief and loss to survive, to fight back. I loved the complex relationship between mothers and their children or loved ones in the last two books and also the siblings bond. It has one of my favourite side characters ever. I loved Mamie Rila, Afya and Musa. I loved the cultures in the book. Especially, the Tribes, they have special place in my heart . I loved them and their traditions and the Kehanni aspect so much. And it has amazing villains. I will just say it that I actually like the Nightbringer (he can be really bad and evil but the commandant is so much worse than him, in my opinion ). I really liked reading about his background and his story. Now, to my beautiful babies. I loved Laia and Elias from the beginning to the end.(They also have a special place in my heart.) I loved their journey, their love, their determination to be good and to fight their inner daemons. The same for Helene, I learned to love her throughout the series, especially in Sky. Ahah, I love this series so much.

Das Ende der Reihe ist voller spannender Wendungen. Aufregend, großartig, stellenweise herzzerreißend. Es war es Wert das zu lesen. Einfach klasse.
