At first glance this looks like a great offer — all these items for just under 25 Francs? Unfortunately, as it often happens, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. The tutorial material is not particularly instructive at all — you will get much more out of watching any of the free beginner’s videos you can find online. The pens are of mostly poor quality, writing unevenly, sometimes with barely discernible ink flow. And the “calligraphy pen” marker specifically is really the wrong implement to learn on in my opinion, as it’s not suited to making sharp, even lines so practicing with it won’t be particularly productive. I had been so looking forward to getting this, but it ended up being really frustrating. I’d recommend getting a fountain pen or 1-2 Japanese calligraphy pens instead and follow online tutorials or even just print out words in a font you like and practice reproducing it; it will make for a much better start and give you more bang for your buck.

Came here to warn you that it’s not really usable. Even though the text may contain some useful tips — all the pens are bad quality, scratch paper and don’t give any free smooth line.
