In jedem neuen Band der Serie hat man gemerkt wie sich der Autor Pierce Brown weiterentwickelt und seine Schreibkünste verbessert. Wenn Ihnen die vorgehenden Teile der Serie Gefallen haben, werden Sie auch von diesem Teil auf keinen Fall enttäuscht werden. All das, was in dem vorgehenden Teil (Asche zu Asche) zu bemängeln war wurde in diesem Buch zu Momentum und Plottwists umgewandelt. Ich kann dieses Buch und die Ganze Serie jedem Fan von Science-Fiction oder Fantasy und sogar der Antike nur wärmstens Empfehlen. "Omnis vir Lupus!"

Dark Age by Pierce Brown is the fifth installment in the Red Rising saga and continues the epic story of Darrow and his struggle for a better world. The novel picks up immediately after the events of Iron Gold. Brown's writing is as sharp and immersive as ever in Dark Age, with the story taking some unexpected and shocking turns that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The character development is particularly impressive, with each of the main characters facing new challenges and revelations that force them to confront their own values and beliefs. The author really does not pull punches in this book with a lot of brutal and unexpected character deaths and betrayals, which makes the build-up for the next book even more interesting. I was able to pick up my copy from the bookstore a few days after I placed my order, which was a great convenience. The book itself was in excellent condition too. Overall, Dark Age is a fantastic addition to the Red Rising saga and a must-read for fans of the series. It's a thrilling and emotional rollercoaster ride that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the next installment. Of course, this is the 5th book of the series so if you plan to start it after reading my review, make sure to start from book 1 "Red Rising".
