It’s sad that it’s only fiction cause It literally sounded so real! I personally love that the book is written in an interview style which made the history of daisy and the six so exciting. Your being introduced to each character at the beginning, afterwards to how they became a band and became so big. Each character has their own story to tell, some of them happy some of them sad. I personally think the situations where all perfectly described especially when it came to the music industry and creating an album as a band which we all heard from real life bands isn’t always easy and fair. The further I got to the end of the book the more I felt how the passion has left and a lot of angry feelings and disagreements were built up. It’s not rare that bands don’t last for that long but it’s still always sad. I’m gonna be honest the last 20 pages made me cry and I barely cry when reading a book! I absolutely adore this story and I could Imagne everything in my head while reading. I truly hope there will be a soundtrack with the songs once the movie is out. Ich war ja skeptisch wegen dem Format da es nur in diesem Interview still geschrieben ist aber es hat mich dann doch sofort gepackt.

Mochte es sehr gerne, finde den Schreibstil sehr toll mit den verschiedenen Sichtweisen. Habe die Geschichte gerne verfolgt und mochte den slow burn zwischen Daisy und Billy. Sehr gut gelungen.

Ich persönlich habe oft das Problem, dass mir nach einigen Kapiteln eines Buches das Interesse vergeht und ich es erstmal wochenlang weg lege, bevor mir wieder langweilig genug ist, es weiter zu lesen. Dieses Buch habe ich jedoch fast schon gar nicht mehr aus der Hand legen können! Alle 30 Seiten kommt gefühlt eine neue Spannungskurve auf und man fragt sich, was wohl passieren wird. Der Schreibstil ist auch überraschend flüssig. (Die Charaktere sprechen nacheinander, ähnlich wie bei einer Dokumentation) Für den Fall, dass Taylor Jenkins Reid sich dazu entscheiden sollte, eine Fortsetzung zu veröffentlichen, bin ich eine der ersten, die diese lesen wird! Ich kann auch sehr die Serie auf Amazon Prime Video empfehlen!
