All Systems Red Murderbot Diaries; 1

This read was surprisingly funny and I loved it! Even though the protagonist is a robot, they are actually really relatable and awkward. Really enjoyed this and am looking forward to reading the next entries in the series!!!

The first in the series, All systems red, introduces Murderbot. Murderbot is a sentient security unit assigned to a spaceship of scientists who is not very fond of people. Most of all, it simply wants to be left alone. However, when the scientists on the craft are informed of a nearby mission becoming unresponsive, it is up to the crew to discover what might have happened to them. In the following expedition, Murderbot is challenged in whether or not it can and wants to protect those it was programmed to. This book is an enthralling quick read and a great start to a very entertaining series. The Murderbot character is a great choice of a narrator as the unit describes its surroundings and experiences of humans intriguingly.

Great story about a --weirdly relatable-- killer bot. Unfortunately too short. One drawback is the price for the hardcover version.

Qualitativ sehr gut, auf meinen PocketBook E-reader automatisch schön ausgestellt. Das ist das erste Buch in die Serie The Murderbot Diaries. Die Sprache ist eher einfacher. Story sehr viel Spaß.
