Highlighting the work of key evolutionary thinkers of the time, including Henry H. Cheek, Robert Grant, Robert Knox and Robert Jameson, author Bill Jenkins reveals the largely neglected role that Edinburgh and its medical school played in the history of evolutionary thought.
