Shatter Me is an emotionally intense story YA fantasy that instantly pulls you in. The story of Juliette – a girl whose touch can kill. The book is easy to read, but what makes it stand out is Tahereh Mafi’s unique writing style. The fragmented thoughts and crossed-out sentences mirror Juliette’s inner chaos and emotional growth, making her voice incredibly real and relatable. You truly feel her loneliness, fear, and transformation as the story unfolds which I found such a nice style within a book. The world-building is sad, and it leaves space for mystery and questions that keep you turning the pages. As the layers of this broken world slowly peel back, you’re drawn deeper into its politics, dangers, and emotional tension. The romantic elements are intense without overwhelming the plot. And yes, there is a cliffhanger – so be prepared to want to dive straight into the next book. Overall, this is a captivating start to a longer series. If you’re into dystopian settings, unique writing styles, and slow-burn character development with a touch of romance, Shatter Me is a great pick.

The Thing i liked the most about this book, is that you don`t get a lot of Information about the whole Setting. We know a few things... and thats it! I loved it!
