Animal Farm

What a great book! I am not sure what I was expecting from it, but it wasn't this greatness! The amount of times I was left with goosebumps and a fast heartbeat...I find it clever how the author created a comparison to political themes in the past. And the ending.. wow.

Animal Farm tells the story of a group of farm animals who overthrow their human owner to create an equal society - only to watch it slowly fall apart under the rule of the pigs. It’s a smart, dark allegory about power, control, and how revolutions can go wrong. Orwell keeps the writing simple but impactful, and the message still hits hard today. It’s a quick read, but it leaves a lasting impression. Just a bit on-the-nose at times.

Absolutely beautiful way of showing politics in a book which seems like a fairytale. All the little details that refer to Soviet Union (the horn and a hoof like a hammer and a sickle). I read this book outloud for my mother and translated it to her (we are from Ukraine) and she told me that many things that are mentioned in 1984 were real in the Soviet Union. I can't even imagine how horrible it was.

perfectly written and beautifully designed. It's really good to read and the illustrations are in a watercolour design. I really enjoyed it and would buy it again! recommended!!! :)

I read through this book in a day. It's super short but shows how the masses are susceptible to one small manipulations at a time through the abstract animal characters. I'd definitely recommended this book to everyone!
