The Supreme Siddhi of Mahamudra Teachings, Poems, and Songs of the Drukpa Kagyu Lineage

These songs are meant to give assurance from their experience of what a person on this path can achieve most in this lifetime. With clear awareness of impermanence, these masters made the best use of this life to realize egoless compassionate wisdom by developing the profound environment of the teacher student relationship, of heart to heart transmission. I lived with genuine practitioners who had all the sublime qualities and were entirely free from even the tiniest attachment to spiritual pride. What can anybody expect to achieve more than the light of a serene enlightened mind?

Ranging from the Mahasiddha Tilopa through Tsangpa Gyare and Pema Karpo to modern masters such as Togden Shakya Shri, Khamtrul Dongyu Nyima, and Adeu Rinpoche, we are offered a spectrum of profound advice on Mahamudra meditation and related practices from the perspective of the Drukpa Kagyu school. This volume is a treasure-house of instruction which would benefit whosoever has the good fortunate to peruse its pages.
