A fun book that offers the reader a humorous and suspenseful deep-dive into the 80s and the satanic panic. Particularly the first three quarters were very engaging, and I loved the friendship between Abby and Gretchen throughout. However, as we got to see the actual exorcism, which should be the climax of the story, the plot lost some of its momentum. The resolution didn't quite work for me. Still, the book was an easy read and a good time overall.
I would definitely recommend it for the setting and the friendship dynamic!
