The Books of Earthsea Winner of the Hugo Award Best Art Book 2019

Über den Inhalt der Bücher möchte ich nichts großartig sagen. Das für mich besondere an dieser Ausgabe ist die unglaubliche schöne Aufmachung. Der Schutzumschlag ist so viel schöner als man es durch die frontale Abbildung beim online Shoppen erahnen könnte. Besonders der Buchrücken besticht durch sein unglaublich schönes Design. Auch der Einband selber ist wirklich gelungen mit seiner schönen roten Farbe und dem goldenen Schriftzug. Im Band selber finde ich besonders angenehm, dass die Platzeinteilung sehr großzügig ist, was das Lesen sehr angenehm macht. Auch die Illustrationen haben mir recht gut gefallen I don’t want to talk too much about the content of this edition although its obviously nice to have all collected works around the world of earthsea in one edition. What I want to mention is the extraordinary visual aspect of this book. Externally, the dust jacket is designed amazingly. Especially it’s spine looks super good which is unfortunately not seen when you do online shopping.. When the dust jacket is removed also the book cover with its deep red color and golden font looks really really good. Inside the book you have very generous spacing which allows smooth and comfy reading. The illustrations also are quite catchy.
